Qa3 have identified a route for oxygen (O2) ingress which has not been previously considered. Nitrogen, used within low pressure systems on both onshore and offshore facilities, may contain up to 5% oxygen. This oxygen rich nitrogen is introduced into the gas process as a consequence of the installation of green FGR systems resulting in elevated oxygen concentrations in the processed gas.
